AEG Quality
AEG has earned the reputation of the premier drum manufacturer where quality is the main goal. All AEG drums follow a stringent approval process, including 100 % visual inspection and on-going manufacturing process control. AEG is a certified ISO 9001 manufacturing facility which equates to superior product manufacturing and quality control.
All our operations work to the same certified QM system. Raw materials and finished products are only accepted and released on the basis of defined photoconductor specifications (print/copy quality, customer specifications). Each production batch is subjected to rigorous testing:
• Geometrical and surface inspection of the substrate
• 100 % surface inspection of the OPC coating
• Electrophotographic characterization and printing/copying tests
In this way, we are ideally equipped for the uncompromising further development of all our QM processes.
At AEG we strive for excellence, and in doing so we have had both our USA and German production facilities certified under the ISO 9000:2000 standards. The China facility will follow soon. This on-going process of adherence to procedures and processes is critical in producing the best possible products with consistently excellent quality. The AEG ISO certification was issued by TUV Management Service. All activities and processes are designed and managed for maximum customer orientation. Constant monitoring and evaluation of processes ensures constant improvement of the QM system. With the aid of quality management reviews, continuous improvement in coordination and cooperation between the individual departments is also guaranteed.
